Technical support and assistance at every stage of the project

SIMO’s services cover all phases of plastic extrusion equipment development, from design consulting to manufacturing, through to after-sales assistance. Equipment testing is also provided and, upon request, testing can be carried out directly at the client’s premises, guaranteeing comprehensive technical support oriented towards production efficiency and the reduction of critical issues.

Design and functional consulting

We support the client during the design phase with initial consulting in which the profile, materials and production conditions are analysed: the aim is to develop tailor-made technical solutions, reducing development time and overall costs from the early stages of the project.

Supply of complete equipment

Complete extrusion system equipment designed and supplied to the client's specifications, manufactured in-house: every solution is designed to integrate into the production line, guaranteeing profile quality, process stability and operational continuity over time.

RE-FIT and RETRO-FIT work

Eseguiamo interventi di re-fit e retro-fit su attrezzature esistenti con l’obiettivo di ripristinarne le prestazioni originarie o adeguarle a nuove esigenze produttive. We carry out re-fit and retro-fit work on existing equipment with the aim of restoring original performance or adapting it to new production requirements. The work allows improvements in precision, output and reliability, extending the operational life of the equipment.

Pre-series sample supply

Manufacture of pre-series samples as a dedicated service, designed to allow the client to test the profile before definitive production start-up: it allows technical checks, application tests and design optimisations, reducing risks, lead times and subsequent modification costs.

Dimensional measurement

We carry out precision dimensional measurements on extruded profiles and components to verify their conformity with design specifications. The measurements support quality control activities and equipment optimisation, ensuring consistency between design and actual production. Testing and fine-tuning (also at the client's premises)

Each piece of equipment undergoes functional testing on dedicated extrusion lines to verify performance, stability and profile quality. Upon request, the service continues at the client's plant with start-up activities and fine-tuning directly in production.
